Megan Mokate is a wife, a mom of 5, and a student Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFT Intern), completing her graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a professional, Megan genuinely loves her clients and honors the risks they take when beginning the therapy journey, and it's a privilege for her to be a part of that journey.
Megan obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (with a minor in Sociology) from the University of Texas-Permian Basin. Megan is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University (go Wildcats!).
Megan's future focus as a fully-licensed MFT will be to further pursue her passion for treating people of all ages, and to treat a wide range of presenting problems, with a focus in trauma.
Megan's interests include spending time with family, growing in her faith and being actively involved in her church, cheering on her children at their sports events, and growing her knowledge in every aspect of life. *Megan is supervised by Dr. Shannon Francom, LMFT.
