Psychoeducational Workshops

Why Attend a Psychoeducational Workshop?

I have designed these Psychoeducational Workshops to serve as an effective and time-efficient course that informs you about a specific topic, provides you direct help and resources, teaches you strategies and interventions to implement at home in order to resolve presenting problems, AND allows you the benefits of group therapy (such as peer feedback, Q&A sessions with a licensed therapist (me!), and support groups....all at a reasonable, convenient, and affordable fee.

What ARE Psychoeducational Workshops?

Psychoeducational Workshops are courses or classes that provide education to clients about specific topics or presenting problems, as well as provide specific ways of how to cope and manage these concerns. The purpose of these workshops is to help people better understand mental health conditions (whether their own challenges or the challenges a friend or family member may be dealing with). Research shows that those who have a thorough understanding of the challenges they are facing as well as knowledge of personal coping ability, internal and external resources, and their own areas of strength are often better able to address difficulties, feel more in control of the condition(s), and have a greater internal capacity to work toward mental and emotional well-being.
